★ ★ ★ ★ ★ W Karytsi offers some of the best, most tasty vegan dishes in Athens. If you are vegan and looking to try some traditional greek cuisine, or the way greek grandmas do it, this is your place. Ntolmadakia, lasagna and lahanontolmades are just some of my favourites. On top of all this, Avesha, the hostess, is super friendly and helpful. She helped me get out of a very difficult situation, as she was willing at a last minute notice to accomodate a company of about 20 people. The night ran smoothly, everyone had a great time and unanimously said the food was delicious - vegans and non-vegans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a vegan treasure if you're looking to try some classic Turkish dishes sans the meat! My husband and I visited during our short stay in Athens and loved the three dishes we had (the Greek super bowl, mushroom hand pies, and vegan moussaka). On top of the great food, the service and atmosphere are on point. Definitely a must visit.
