They are so accommodating and the hostel is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect as you are right in the centre. I haven’t even left the hostel….but I had to write about this place straight away. 10/10

If you’re seeking a sophisticated, very clean, aesthetically pleasing and well designed hostel in Athens, this is it. ??? I arrived past midnight but had 0 issues accessing the property with the provided access codes to both the front door and my room. Everything worked out really smoothly. Booking directly and calling the hostel was the right move to sort that out with their friendly staff. ? An owner-run and operated hostel, you’ll know you’re staying with a local and supporting the neighbourhood when you stay here. ? The When in Athens Hostel just opened in May 2022 and you’ll be one of the first guests to enjoy this freshly renovated historic building. No money was spared in renovating the property into a very trendy and spacious living space, with a large kitchen, common area and plenty of bathrooms and showers across the three floors. ? ………… If you stayed & liked your time at the When in Athens Hostel after reading my review, i’d love to know by giving this review a thumbs up ?? g	golas off on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel is really new and everything is so clean. In the hurt of city center with amazing bars , restaurants very near and in general Super vibes. The 2 guys in reception that I met are very friendly and helpful with everything I wanted. Thank you! if the staff all over the world was like them ,the world would be better for sure. I was in a 4 bed room. I put 4 stars because the room was small enough (only for sleep) and because I was on the upper bed and the air-conditioning was straight on me. I couldn't close it because due to the small room the air should became fresh. Very cold outside the blanket, very hot inside the blanket. No ?? Please my lovely tourists ,don't walk everywhere in the hostel without shoes especially in the toilet.. I can't see bare foot ??or only ? socks in the toilet. Hygiene first priority.

That provides a high quality of sleep because if you wanna have a shower for example you are not going to bother anyone. The stuff is also great and totally helpful. The area is full of nice Cafés and Bars and generally full of life. I really enjoyed it staying in this hostel. Just 10/10.

Everything is super clean. The common room and the garden have a relaxing atmosphere. Just around the corner you find cozy cafeterias and restaurants. Very friendly staff.

Not only is it aesthetic and charming but also spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, and the furniture and interior design is elegant and tasteful. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The beds have smart storage space, a comfortable mattress, an actual duvet which keeps you perfectly warm, and their own little lamp which brings some extra coziness to your space in the room. The kitchen and dining area are spacious, aesthetic and fully equipped. The showers and bathrooms are just as beautiful and clean as the rest of the Hostel. The people who work there are great hosts, genuinely kind and helpful. The location of the Hostel is amazing, as it is in the charismatic neighborhood of Exarchia, which is full of various bars, coffee shops and restaurant, street art and diverse people. The city center is just 15-30 minutes away by foot, depending where you wanna go. I can wholeheartedly recommend this Hostel. I know this is where I'll stay when I am visiting Athens again.
