★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sat for an hour indoors having a couple of drinks, waiting for a table on the "outside terrace". Table eventually became vacant so I sat down. Barmaid came over and asked me to move as she had promised the table to someone else. These people had only just came in the bar but were obviously more important customers than my wife & I. I explained that I had waited an hour but this made no difference. I simply thought this was rude. Finished our drinks & left. I will not be returning!
I would now like to reply to your response. Firstly, we only sat at 2 tables in one hour, moving closer to the outside terrace when it was possible.
Secondly, there were only 4 people sat at the table before us.
Thirdly, there were only 4 people (2 young couples) given our seats. They could have sat where we sat whilst patiently waiting for an outside table.
Telling lies does not justify moving someone from the table. As far as I am aware you do not have to reserve a table at your bar & what happened was both embarrassing & rude.
