★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. We ordered 3 appetizers and a grilled fish to share the 2 of us. The appetizers and the drinks took half and hour to arrive, but this was still ok since we were on holidays and the place is nice.
After 2 hours waiting for the main dish, we ask them to stop them since we were not hungry anymore. Then, the waitress told us it was not even asked to the kitchen!
After near 3 hours, we left without having dinner and with a simple "I'm sorry"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and simple traditional Greek tavern, with superb fresh fresh, a fantastic view on the seashore of Koufonisia (and Kato Koufonisia in the background - see my picture with the moon gleaming) and rather reasonable prices!
It’s also a hotel apparently but we only tried the restaurant and will be back to try more (and more) fish and typical Greek starters (zucchini balls and fava were great)!

Perfect place to have lunch after a hard day at the beach or a long walk around the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the only decent restaurant we visited on the island. Location is fab, views are lovely, service was great and most importantly, food was delicious and fresh. Octopus and calamari were tender and tasty. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Greek tavern, family owned and operated. We first visited in 2018 and were very pleased with the service and the freshness of the food. We visited again in August 2021 and we were satisfied with the service and the food quality. It's about a 10-15min walk from the port of Koufonisia. We got pastitsio, goat with lemon potatoes, horta (greens) and zucchini balls. Delicious!
