★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The legendary café at zakros village. Amazing view on the main street while you enjoy local perfect quality snacks and drinks. Nikos the owner will always be there to welcome you with a smile and will be glad give you any kind of information and guidance you will need for your trip. You can't pass from zakros and skip xyloporta. One of the locals favorite and for sure it will end up being yours too. Plus one for free internet access computers and satellite TV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here for a coffee in the middle of a walk from KZ up to Zakros and back down the gorge. They were very friendly and it was cool and welcoming. I have say the coffee was nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very welcome and warm place to stop for refreshments and coffee while passing by or staying in beautiful Zakros. And a pleasant surprise to find beautiful art photographies of master photographers from 20th Greece (Voula Papapioannou for example) hanging on the walls. Recommended stop!
