★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yalos was our first meal in Platis Gialo and WOW, what an exceptional experience! The location and view is superb, as is the welcoming relaxed atmosphere of the staff.
The most important part- the FOOD, was phenomenal!! We opted to share a whole fish that was presented to us, cooked to perfection and deboned for us at our table. Our waiter was very passionate about the menu and creating a quality experience- this was reflected in his recommendations for wine and dishes. It was so good my family returned for our last meal in Platis Gialos.
Keep up the good work team Yalos! Efcharisto para poli!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anticlimactic experience. We booked a beachfront umbrella set (2 beds) and proceeded with spending 160€ for 3 small plates of mediocre food and 4 bad drinks. (to add a positive note, both food and drinks were on the good-looking side). Our only aim was to return for the beach beds the day after but we were denied a reservation. Zero customer appreciation; neither returning, nor recommending.

Yalos offers a very unique menu with interesting combinations of familiar Greek flavours, with a modern twist and impeccable execution. Paired with an extensive wine list, the whole experience was one of the best we ever had.
Andreas and the team made us feel welcome straight away, looked after us through out the whole evening and were attentive without being pushy.
The dishes have a lot of work and thought put into them and we truly enjoyed every single bite.
The location could not be better with tables literally on the sand.
Definitely a must try restaurant in Sifnos.
