★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, but definitely not a 5 stars hotel. I would say not even a 4 star. The hotel hasn´t been renewed in a while, bed matress was hard and really uncomfortable. Service was poor and the room wasn´t cleaned daily. We had to call to have the room made after the 2nd day.
The pool area and the a-la-carte breakfast was really nice.
Overall, poor value for the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positives
Firstly the hotel grounds are beautiful and all kept well especially the gardens. The cleanliness was good throughout the hotel
The hotel is a 5 min walk from a gorgeous beach with great beach cafe (you need to reserve beds)
The pool is also great, big and perfect for laps.
The concierge made very good dinner recommendations which was so helpful
However, this is not a 5* resort, the staff really don’t know what they are doing. Our transfer from the ferry was late to pick us up and didn’t have our names, we were then charged 50 Eur which in a standard taxi is 10 Eur.
The hotel could not make you a coffee at breakfast, you had to que for coffee and to use a toaster which wasn’t COVID friendly.
The food from the menue was pre prepared and warmed when ordered, we received pancakes and omlets burnt and cold. When we showed the staff they said it was sitting in a warmer! Not what you want to here for 400-500 euros a night. Any coffee not made yourself or a fresh juice was charged on top.
Whilst a better room was available the next day the hotel showed us the room and then would not upgrade us not that it made huge amounts of difference.
The rooms had detail of room service, when we ordered cocktails to our room we were told there is no room service because of Covid. This baffled me with a huge buffet breakfast!! They had forgotten to mention that due to COVID there was no spa and no room service during our stay.
Around the pool no staff are available to take drink orders you have to find them. The staff look like they had no idea what they were doing, one staff member told us the power had gone because we had the wrong key, another member of staff said the key is nothing to do with the electricity. Checking in was a shambles and we found them quite rude and uninterested.
This hotel just doesn’t have the service, food, small things like providing towels and drinks that other 4/5 stars do.
Check in took ages
Late check out
Staff told us things were bad because of the busy period, again not really my issue I assume that’s why they put the prices up

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience ever! We were warned about the management’s attitude and they really did meet those expectations.
Jannis the hotel manager kept avoiding us when he could hear us voice our concerns with front desk and how our stay was not pleasant at all during check out and kept making himself look busy and the receptionist’s only solution was for us to fill out a questionnaire.
The hotel does not fit the 5 star criteria even though the property has so much potential. Housekeeping was not available at 11pm, the wifi was very weak all over the hotel and there was no duvet on the bed!
We literally slept under thin bed sheets and a hard bed cover.
The room amenities do not include a coffee machine or complimentary water bottles and when we asked the front desk her response was that the tap water is drinkable and nothing has happened to her in the last 30 years on the island.
Rude sarcastic and lazy staff to be honest and I will make sure to warn anyone wanting to book this hotel to go some places else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hotel is okay - nice rooms and a very well-looked-after garden. The beach is in walking distance from the Hotel and has all amenities one needs. The city is not in walking distance so it is highly recommended to rent a scooter or car.
What made us really angry was the hotel pick up from the harbor. The Yria Hotel is charging 50 Euros for a 10-minute ride which is completely out of this world. A normal taxi, which is by the way perfectly fine, will cost you about 15 Euros. When we departed the Hotel wanted to charge us another 60 Euros for travelling to the airport of Paros which we cancelled straight away - we instead ordered a normal taxi and paid not more than 25 Euro. The Taxi service is a complete rip-off and everyone should be warned.
Overall nice hotel but I don't think it should be 5 stars rated!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in Paros while island hopping in Greece. We had a 3 night reservation at Yria hotel and spa. My fist impression was the lobby and bar area were a bit dated.
Our room however was very nice. We decided to have a quick lunch before heading out to explore. The food at the poolside restaurant was garbage. They tried serving us a pizza that looked like it was frozen.
Not food you would expect from a high end hotel that claim to have a Michelin star chef. Things would get worse.
We had a room with a private plunge pool or at least we thought. Much to our surprise there was video camera directed right at the pool area. We were horrified by this discovery and reported it to the manager right away, whose reply was it is not in service. I asked them if it’s not in service why don’t you take it down?? No response from Manager. They’re solution was to put tape over the lense and said that was all they could do for us. Well, needless to say we did not use the pool area after that episode.
To top off our day we heard very loud animal
Sounds while trying to take a rest, I looked
over the hedge to find out our room was adjacent to a field of sheep and mules.
You can’t imagine the foul odor that Emanated from this field. That was the icing on the cake.
We decided to check out the next morning and go to the Poseidon hotel (Which was very nice). That day we requested a refund for the 2 nights that we had already paid for, our requests and emails have been ignored. We would never stay at this hotel chain again. You will be very disappointed and have barnyard animals howling all night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yria is the type of property that you need to do thorough research on. I think most of the bad reviews are due to travelers not researching enough before booking. It is a small quiet property so it will not be a fit for everyone however if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway Yria is a great choice. The pool experience suite was perfect.
