★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on a 3 hour tour (i.e. including Keri Caves and Marathonisi island) that departs at 9:30 in the morning.
The trip started by ca 30 minutes of searching for turtles. After we have seen two of them we continued to Keri Caves where the boat stopped and we could swim or snorkel for ca 15 minutes. Given the fact that the bottom is rocky (not pure sand) it was possible to see some sea life (small fish, ...)
Then the captian took us to Marathonisi for another 45 minutes (more snorkeling) and we returned to shore ca 1 hour later than planned.
Overall the trip was nice but don't make plans close after the scheduled arrival as the schedules are not very strict. Also I suspect that if you book a trip in the afternoon the departures may be delayed if the morning boats do not return on time.
If it's only turtle spotting that you're after, it's better to rent a "pedalo" or a sea kayak, take snorkeling equipment, find a turtle (you can tell its location by a cluster of boats that's gathered in one place) and go to water to swim with it. You'll be able to get much closer and get a better view than from any boat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brilliant experience where we saw 3 turtles and then had a tour of several islands, Cliffs, coves and beaches. The boat driver was excellent as a guide and boat driver, good fun and enjoyable 3 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I went on the 3 hour glass bottomed boat trip on Saturday and had a wonderful time.
We spotted turtles straight away and was able to take some close up photographs. Although the boat got fairly close to the turtles they approached slowly and did not appear to frighten them in anyway.
We then went to the caves where the water was a beautiful blue colour and we was able to swim in them for 20 minutes.
Finally we spent an hour on Marathonisi beach. We swam in the sea and was able to get drinks and ice creams from the floating bars.
I am so pleased we decided to go on this trip it will be a much talked about part of our holiday.

From Emma taking our booking and looking after us to the charming captain with character it was a day to remember.
I highly recommend this company for a turtle tour if you are in zante / Zakynthos.
Nice people, safe boat captain and we saw a turtle.
Even if we hadn’t seen a turtle we still had a blast and it was such a good experience.
