Georgia (the owner of the place) creates traditional Cretan dishes with a modern twist. Everything is cooked from fresh local ingredients and to the order. My favorites are moussaka which is cooked with sheep’s milk and dolma yalanci. Delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic. Georgia is very welcoming and friendly and treats her customers as if they were friends. Thank you, Zen of Crete!

Georgia made all of that possible me and my kids had an awesome tasting and relaxing experience in Zen of Crete restaurant! These people love what they do and that love goes to their dishes and everything! An absolute recommend if you go to Archanes. P.S. don't forget to try the home lemonade!!! ?

We regret that we didn’t leave the place after she was obviously annoyed from us. Anyway, I feel sorry for her because I think that there must be something very frustrating in her life. The food was good (3,5 stars) but not the best we had. It was also the first time that we didn’t get any sweets or Raki after the meal.

Good-quality fresh ingredients and creative, well-balanced, flavors that were complemented by a fantastic house wine! In addition, we got the chance to meet and talk with Georgia and her family, who are genuinely nice people! Great experience, overall!
