Me and 3 friends visited 3 monkeys yesterday with high expectations since it had good reviews and it was also recommended by other friends. We arrived and the place was quite full. We sat down and after about 10 minutes got our catalogues. After around another 20 minutes we finally managed to get someones attention to order and made our order of some starters, 4 main courses and cocktails. Shortly after the drinks arrived were the 2 margaritas were warm (no ice at all) and not drinkable. Waitress (also manager) who was quite polite offered to make new ones. New ones were bit better but still average made. After another 20 minutes the starters arrived. Were to begin, the cheese-sticks on some greens tasteless and burned, the nachos with cheddar tasted like cartons with something on it, some salad like thing with chicken sticks was a bowl of tasteless greens and also burned tiny sticks of something like chicken. Filled mushrooms were ok but still nothing special. We finished the starters and had expectations for the main courses. After around 45 minutes (restaurant was getting empty by then) and the main dishes still not arrived we notified the waitress, she approached us and we wanted to get to her attention that we are already waiting that long and also noticed that guests that arrived after us were already eating and also saw many take aways getting ready for delivery but our dishes were still nowhere to see. She got grumpy when she saw that we were upset, she never apologised and some other guy from the staff approached us with not a very calming or positive attitude. With their unprofessional handling we just decided to pay for what we had and left the restaurant. Conclusion is we have understanding that it might take longer to prepare the dishes especially when the place is full but we expect someone to tell us something like “thank you for your patience” or something similar and not instead being grumpy. Also the food was really extremely bellow average if someone has eaten at any other serious Mexican restaurant and can honestly compare. Putting our experience of the bad service aside we still wouldn’t recommend it. Unfortunately bellow average.

Usually I don’t make such bad ratings like this but it was just catastrophic. Good things first: the location is nice. Bad things: I had Tacos, I couldn’t finish my plate even that the portion was very small. The Tacos were very munchy and not good in taste ether. -My Bro also didn’t finish his plate. I don’t know the name of his dish but the chicken was dry and the sauce had no taste at all. -The waiter brought us a wrong drink. -Overall we didn’t felt comfortable -40€ for 2 persons and we left the local hungry. Not ever again, sorry.

Nice food. Not the typical Mexican flavors though. Sour cream was not very good and the spicy ones were not spicy!

Very good service and an excellent menu. Add in the super range of cocktails and you've got a good night ahead!

Extremely welcoming place. Great cocktails and very nice food. Polite staff are definitely worthy of a special mention.

3 monkeys should get more staff. Employees are practically struggling. The food is tasty, kind of british style, but it would be nice if the burger actually included all that nice stuff I read in the menu. Overall a fun place to eat but nothing particularly special.
