★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9beaufort is a cute little place right in the middle of Nea Chora port. We ended up there because a local recommended it and it turned to be the best restaurant we went during our stay in Chania. The food was great, the people were extremely friendly and the location is out of this world. The shrimp pies stole my heart. MUST TRY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this place! I saw some very positive reviews of this place so we came here for lunch. I am so glad we did. Our waiter, Paco, gave impeccable service as he was kind, jovial, and knowledgeable. He made us feel so comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet the chef, Rosie, and complemented her on our meal! The Cycladic salad was beautiful and tasty (be careful as it's very filling too)! The fish (snapper) was grilled to perfection! Reality was that the entire staff including manager, Stavros (?), were attentive and provided excellent service, which is not always common. It was a fantastic experience with a table by the water. Apparently they opened not too long ago. If they keep this up, their great start will ensure that they stay around and thrive for a long time. Unfortunately, we have to head back home soon after discovering this place but we will absolutely come back there again the next time we're in Chania!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9 Beaufort is an amazing restaurant located at Nea Chora, Chania. 5 stars isn't enough to express the quality of the food and the service we experienced. Every single dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and the staff was really friendly. A brilliant combination of great food, service and a lovely view of the Port makes it a place that you MUST visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this seaside restaurant the day I arrived in Chania. I loved it so much I came back nearly every day. The food is out of this world and incredibly fresh. The service was impeccable. The waiters got to know us and provided great personalized service. We had a habit of eating and drinking wine late into the night and we were never made to feel like we were overstaying our welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant for it's authentic Greek food and fantastic service. Make sure you try the tzatziki, eggplant dip, fried zucchini and grilled octopus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous dinner. Even though it was busy the service was great and we were seated and ordered fairly quickly. Ordered the octopus and sardines as an appetizer that didn’t disappoint. The linguine with scallops and clams was a unique dish that’s a must try. Our server recommended the shrimp pies that was a house specialty and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, location and food. We were welcomed so kindly from Stavros, so we couldn't say no. Usually it is a tourist trap, but in this case -viceversa. A lovely dinner, fresh ingredients and best dolmathakia ever! Don't miss it out when you are in Chania.
