★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was ok. Owner recommended the non-fresh squid to us, but I noticed the locals were getting fresh. The food took a while to come out, and our octopus was really overcooked. Then didn’t collect bill money. 9beaufort and Kaiki were really great, just a few steps down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everytime we visit Chania, we ensure that we have at least one meal at Manos. It's definitely one of our favourite tavernas in Nea Chora. Food choice, quantity and taste are fantastic. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great restaurant on the water. Known for fresh fish. We had the fried mixed seafood platter, fava beans, fried mixed veggies cheese omelette and a cold draught beer. Free bread and tap water. Well worth the stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is located next to the fishermen's port and is definitely tha best area to have good fish siting next to the sea.
The quality was very good, and traditional products and stuffed zucchini leaves, Horta etc were also very good quality.
The portions are big and the house wine very nice and crisp with nice fruitiness.
Definitely one of the best traditional places in Hania away from the tourist traps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I went here for dinner, and had some tzatziki, moussaka and chicken souvlaki. The tzatziki had long pieces of cucumber, which made it harder to put it on the bread. It both tasted nice, though.
The moussaka was fine, but we had better, and the souvlaki unfortunately had not to much taste, more than the smokey flavor. We expected a bit better, as it was recommended by someone.
Staff was friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me it was perfect :) I had a gemista, the taste was so good, the portion is enough and with the yoghurt I warmly recommend. It is mid May now, luckily not not full of tourists yet, service is normal, I didn’t need to wait so much. I will come back again :) And the location is also beautiful :)
