★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole rock is an amazing experience, take a large bottle of frozen water from the kiosk on the other side of the bridge and climb to the summit using the gently sloping paths up from the well preserved medieval fortress town

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful location- it is essentially a real life fairy tale. Wear good shoes, watch your step and pack plenty of water. It is a deceptively long trek but well worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can walk to the top, do it! Views are amazing. Don't necessarily need walking shoes but be careful even when it's dry (which is most the time) some of the walking paths are slippery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the must-visits in Greece. It's out there, mobbed by tourists (you and I included), but truly an amazing locale. If you can visit off season it's highly recommended, but if not plan on getting there early and enjoy a few hours before the buses arrive. It's worth a walk up to the top of the lower town, but I've but been up up! I can only imagine.
