★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning scenery and a great place to stay in amongst the old lower town. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants. Worth a climb up to the top to see the ruins of the castle. From the top you have great views back across the causeway to the mainland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view, nice small shops and magnificent views from the different cafés and the castle ruins all the way on top of the hill. Similar experience as Mt Saint Michael in France, but bluer oceans, better views and way less touristic.

It's so unique place is worth to explore
Not recommended in very hot days.
Keep in mind that parking can be long walk away and there is no shade to hide on the way. Wiev is spectacular

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place. It's a must if you are in this part of Greece. Place with a long, interesting and turbulent history. Amazing mix of architecture. Visit of the upper part where is a citadel and beautiful church is recommended. After the visit there are many nice restaurants and cafe where you can get a refreshments or eat something.
