On calling the property to confirm few details, there was no flexible customer friendly approach regarding taking our pet with us to the restaurant even if we booked half board and wanted to pay 20 euros per day for the dog. Of course the booking I cancelled. The manager should work seriously on the understanding of the customers real needs and not referring to the regulations.

My husband and I have just had the most relaxing six days at the Athena Pallas Village. The hotel complex is beautiful; immaculately clean and well kept and the rooms well presented and equipped. It was a joy to have tea and coffee making in the room! The pool area is pretty and though small was rarely crowded during our week. The poolside staff, Panos, Eva and Theo could not have been more attentive or kind. The food in the main restaurant is plentiful and delicious with lots of choice and authentic Greek dishes on offer. I have fallen head over heels for the spoon sweet figs at breakfast! The smiling welcome from Panagiota each day was a bonus. The resort is quiet with lovely views of the bay. We enjoyed the birds around us - nesting outside our door - an additional entertainment which made us smile every day. A five star hotel but affordable. I recommend it highly. (There were loads of trips and other activities on offer, but our mission was to do nothing in the sunshine and that's exactly what we did. I haven't slept as well in years.)

I would like to point out that the hotel staff is exceptional. A special thanks to Anna from the transportation & guest relation desk, as well as to Jordino for being so attentive, professional, kind, hospitable and amazing. Me and my husband loved a lot staying at this hotel, the location is great, the nature is very picturesque, the F&B had a variety of choice including traditional Greek menu. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone searching for a warm and welcoming place to stay in Greece.

I would like to write that the place is perfect for a holiday stay and it almost is. I will start with the disadvantages that I have experienced and there are few of them: - coffee at breakfast, for such a good selection of dishes, which I will describe as an advantage - instant coffee from a machine and medium quality is not suitable for such a facility - no drinks at dinner - I consider it a hidden fee, water should be free with the meal. In addition, the hotel has a lot of advantages such as location, service, a wide range of additional services, cleanliness, a dedicated team of animators for children, etc., which befits a facility with 5 stars. I sincerely recommend it to everyone, with or without a child.

My friend and I found this an incredibly relaxing venue. Firstly the setting - being so close to several small beaches, the peaceful nature of the hotel and its grounds in addition to the attentiveness of the hotel staff. The hotel spa was fantastic - with considerate reception staff and therapists and well-priced, quality treatments. I highly recommend the full body massage and aromatherapy with almond oil!

We have booked for 7 days, so far everything is perfect with hotel, just yesterday we were on the beach, someone next to us was smoking, we have to leave early, unfortunately they are not hotel guests, cause they don't have the blue towels which hotel supplies to all guests. I am not sure the beach is private to the hotel or not. Now it's only been two days, we enjoyed it so much. I will update more information when we finish our holiday.

The hotel is amazing with managers and staff that aim to please. The location offers peace & tranquility where you can watch the sun set from your balcony, the sea, the pool area. We met some some amazing staff and manger at Lemon restaurant who made my special birthday amazing. You should all be proud of how you made me feel. Not forgetting all the bar staff at the various bars who served us and made it such a joy to be in their company. To the young lady at the bar located near our room 911 who served us daily and always had a smile. The manager and staff at the restaurant where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner who again always had a smile and it was so inviting To the managers who always checked in with us to see how we were. The domestic staff who cleaned our rooms daily, and left our room spotless, including all the balconies and surrounding areas. Myself and my husband send lots of love to you all.

Some excellent plus points to this hotel and a couple of points to consider. Firstly the hotel is in a gorgeous setting with some lovely pools and very close to a private beach. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. We ate in the main restaurant and the food alternated between gorgeous and slightly odd, depending on the night. The drinks are quite expensive though... (think City pub prices). They do run some nice trips but book early as they either need minimum numbers or they're full early. The room block we were in had its own private pool which was lovely and the room itself was very comfy and inviting. Overall a lovely place and we look forward to going again.
