★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous little taverna in the ruins of a building with vines and bougainvillea as a roof. The owner and his friends sing and play guitar and bouzouki many evenings, with customers often joining in. Always popular with tourists and locals, the food is a delight

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am overwhelmed by delicious food and the atmosphere there. The place - old building - converted into something magical, lots of plants and flowers, a festival of a lights. People working there are just happy and friendly. You can feel there really welcomed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place! 7 minutes walk from crowded and loud towernas on the side of the lake. The view. The food. The service. The host is wonderful. It's mainly meat restaurant, but vegetarians will find here some delicious meals as well. I feels like a family restaurant, but still a restaurant. Big portions too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was ok, not great. The service was polite & friendly, if a little slow. It's not bad but I would recommend exploring other options around the area. The Cretan Potato Salad was the highlight if you do order from here, as were the veggie croquettes. Chicken with rice & walnut pesto was fine, as was the smoked pork. Pasta & lamb were not a hit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place a few minutes walk from the city center.You can sit outside or inside the beautiful garden where you can enjoy traditional live music. The food is tasty and fresh, and wine is local and one of the I've tasted during my stay on Crete. Staff likes to joke and interact with guests. Prices are reasonable.
