AAAAMAZING! Went alone and spent a total of 16 EUR for one, including double appetizer, main, dessert and digestive. Service was excellent and food was local. Lovely!

Great food and very reasonable prices. The owner showed me all fresh fish I could choose from and cleaned a fish for me. I got a complimentary food&drinks too. I've already been to this place a couple of time and each time I was very satisfied.

Very enjoyable experience! I love how friendly the boss and lady boss are! The food was very delicious, come in huge portions and cheaper than other places in Chania! It's found in a small alleyway and I really like how unpretentious everything is. We were very well-fed at the end and will definitely be going back at least once more before we leave this beautiful island.

We feel mislead, as we wanted to eat at To Mikio, and in place of their tables there are Argo's tables, as To Mikio is closed for good... our mistake, we could have asked the waiter. We ordered Cretan salad (which was ok), seafood risotto (average), and zucchini croquettes (which we thought were undercooked, but the waiter assured us, that they are meant to be a bit runny inside). This was the first time in Crete we were not satisfied with our meal. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from.

Overrated place. We've waited for the food to arrive for too long. The waitress brought a bread (4 slices) with nothing to eat it with (like sauce or dip, although we've ordered a carbonara and bologniese spagetti. They even charge the bread (that we didnt ordered - 2 Euros). The bolognese was served with only minced meat (nothing else, meaning the tomato sauce didnt existed in the dish) so we didnt finished the meal. It's overall not clean taverna, and the worst experience with food we had in Crete. You should definetly find another taverna to spend your money. Cheers

Food was ok/ so so. The waiter was friendly overall, though were were disappointed that the mezze was charged to us at 15€ when it said 12€ on the menu. We were asked to pay the “new” price and didn’t receive any apology for what they even recognized to be a mistake. We checked the menu again two days later and the price was not adjusted. We used to come to Mikios across the street and ended up at Argos after learning that Mikios had closed. Won’t come back.

I'd give it more stars if I could. The food is really amazing and not expensive at all. We ordered the pasta with seefood for 2, white wine and a big bottle of water and we paid 25€. Honestly, I can't believe some bad reviews that I saw... homemade food takes some time to be prepared (if you want to eat in five minutes, go to Mc Donalds...) I didn't feel that we waited for a long time, maybe 15-20 minutes. It is true that they charge 2€ for the bread, but they also gave us ouzo and watermelon for free after we ate. I totally recommend it.

Quite nice location. The Greek salad with small piece of cheese, in all other places we ate in Crete it was given to us in better way. The food was ok, but nothing special. What we didn’t lika was that we needed to wait for the food nearly 1,5 hours! And although the waitress announced twice the meal is coming it was not. After we ate, another plenty of minutes of waiting to pay.
