Booked an expensive same day flight from Rhodes. Couldnt check in online. Got to airport, check in desks closed, office closed, with something in Greek and a note on window with local number to ring, although all other airline offices were open. Eventually baggage checkin opened and girl at desk sorted our problem. Btw at Athens passport control, facial recognition and passport self scan used, which I do not approve of data and image harvesting like that. Swabs were taken of my hands and stomach as my rosary beads seemed to set off the security beeper. Airhostesses, on this flight going to Ireland heavily enforced mask wearing. *Agean Airlines, mask nazis, this is Not Acceptable, especially when destination has no mandatory mask rule for flying.* If you want our money, on a flight going to our country, respect OUR rules. I will never use Agean Airlines again.

Rude staff at the counter and typical lowest-cost-carriers strategies to extract money from the customers. Now they force you to choose between either personal item or a hand luggage, with the ridiculous limit of 8kg. If your luggage is as low as 300grams in excess of that, be prepared to pay €50 extra. Cabin crew was nice, but overall a terrible service and extremely poor experience. Avoid at all costs.

I don’t leave bad reviews. I work in customer service and always try to understand the other side of things. However, I have had a really frustrating experience with Aegean that just costs me hundreds of dollars. Check in and counter staff were rude, impatient and not helpful. This caused us to miss our flight even though we were there and check in early. We had what what we needed to board but were turned away and told to go get tickets for the next flight before our flight gate even closed. This caused us to miss other connections and forced us to pay for additional accommodations and tickets. I will never recommend this airline to anyone.

This is just rediculous. Tickets are getting more expensive every year. They are now making you pay for choosing a seat on the airplane. "Due to covid" (??????) you are not allowed a personal item and hand luggage on board wth the economy ticket. You have to pay for the flex. The flex also grants you no rebooking fees...or so they say. I had to change my flight but their "manage your booking" doesnt work and keeps refusing my credit card...the same credit card I used to buy the ticket. So now I have to spend god knows how much money to call customer service. Even though rebooking is free...I guess the almost zero competition they have in domestic flights is showing in their approach. Next time I will take the bus.

Trips get cancelled without specific reasons, apparently they didn't get a full plane so decided to cancel the route. They don't reply to emails and their call center has dramatic waiting times! I'm a silver member and try to avoid them. I travel for work and it's one of the most frustrating experiences booking flights with Aegean.

Best Airline ever! From Customer Service to the Crew! Spacious Aircrafts, delicious meals onboard, great staff! Every time is a great experience! I really appreciate traveling with this Company. The Safety and health procedures are respected. Thank you for everything!!!

This company is creating fake trips every year Athens-Tunis-Athens. Then it just cancels them and inform customers sho relied on it that it was just cancelled for other reasons (never a clear reason). Flights are fully booked since the first days the campany published them. Just to collect money to pay debts or whatever. That is not respectful towards customers. You can make profit without playing with your customers' trust. 1 star (because there no zero star)

The survey email Aegean sends is about only cabin crew. The service on board was just fine. I will not respond to that survey because it covers only one part of the overall experience. It is at the airport and check-in process that was utterly abysmal. You need to do better. The lines were confusing. There was no one to ask a question or direction from. I arrived at the airport completely prepared - checked-in, with boarding pass, extra bag paid for online, etc. I tagged my own bags at the airport And, then, I found the signs confusing as to which line to get in to, then stood in line for self-tagged bags with 30-40 other people, most of whom had not self-tagged their bags. I don’t blame the people because, again, the signs/lines are confusing and there is no one to ask or to direct or to help in any way. I am a million-miler, so air travel is not at all new to me. Very poor performance in this aspect. Typically Greek, unfortunately.
