★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in room 29. BEWARE. In need of some major renovations! Very old, dirty and dated. Squished dead mosquitos left on walls in bathroom. Soap scum on shower head. Dusty aircon system that definitely has not been serviced in a long time causing my sisters asthma to become extremely bad. Flys everywhere! 95 euro a night for this... Dissapointing as we booked with the hotel over a year ago, you would think they would put us in a better room. I asked if we could upgrade room at more cost whenever something comes available and was refused as they were booked out. Originally had booked for 5 nights but we left by the 3rd night because we couldn’t handle it any longer. Owner made us pay the full 5 nights still even though we checked out after the 3rd night, explained to the owner our concerns and how we were unhappy, he didn’t seem to care. It was definitely not what we thought we were paying for. Lost 295 euro. Ridiculous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place, room was newly decorated and the bathroom was small but really good shower/ proper toilet. Friendly owner and laidback pool area. Directly opposite the beach, next door to mini Market and bus stop, cannot fault the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location (next to the beach), nice hotel. The problem is the owner, who was rude, unwelcoming and condescending. He entered our rooms without telling us several times, cut off our electricity, sabotaged our air conditioning, denied us room cleaning service and even refused to give us toilet paper. He was disrespectful and shouted at us on more than one occasion. It was an unpleasant experience to an otherwise nice stay at Ios.

Close to beach, bars and restaurants.
Even if you are close to nightlife the place is really calm.
Warm atmosphere of a family hotel.
The place was never crowded, staff was always nice.
Highly recommend.
