I've had a great stay at Afroditi Hotel. Our room was clean when we checked in and the housekeeper was professional and kind on a daily basis. The location is just great because Kamari Beach is just 1 min walk from the hotel. The entire coast street has a variety of restaurants and cocktail bars... The breakfast buffet was the same everyday which was the only down for me...

Bleak basement room, staff got onto me for eating an ice cream from an outside business when they don't sell ice-cream at the hotel ? we moved to a hotel next door after 3 days it was so bad ! Love to know how they earned that 4 star rating

Hello, We stayed on Afroditi Venus from 27th, 28th & 29th May 2022. My friend n I checked in on 27th May on evening. The room was a disappointment, we asked for a room upgrade. They said its not possible since the hotel is fully booked. The room and the bathroom was average. Air conditioner wasn't cold enough in the night. The next day at the breakfast we requested for one well done egg, they refused it. We had booked n payed for 3 days but we checked out a day before because of series of disappointment with the stay and staff. While checking out , we complained to the reception staff regarding our dissatisfaction. She said that "that it was a personal choice booking this hotel and she can't help if it". She was do rude to us. We aked the hotel to book cab for dropping us at the port. She quoted it would be 25 Euros, once we reached the driver asked for 35 euros. When we checked with the reception staff again she quoted that "it's your personal choice" to book the cab with us. This was her response when she quoted the price wrong. With total disappointment we left Santorini.

What kind of 4 stars hotel sends its customers at 10pm to the supermarket for a water bottle? Certainly the same kind that charges you 15€ for a spa for a daily access where you can’t even sit in, which is cold (~30’C) and where you can’t stay more than 20 minutes. The staff is gentle, the rooms are clean and the hotel is nice. But do not tell us it’s a 4 stars hotel, those services would have been free and far more.

The worst experience with a hotel that I ever had! Booked a "superior" room, which was small few square meters big dump with old and used furniture. The cleanliness was average. In their offer online they promise amenities that you don't get, and when I asked at the reception for it, they're response was really rude, almost like I'm crazy for asking it. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

A few nice staff but some really awful staff who talk very inappropriately to you. Food is atrocious. No wonder there’s never anyone in the restaurant. Do not get a superior room. Do not get breakfast. Do not go half board. Pool shuts at 6.30pm. Bar shuts at 11. I’ve never been to such a hotel that is so poor at customer service. There are 1 stars in Spain that are better than this hotel. It’s a real shame though because this could be terrific but (some of*) the staff just do not care if they upset their customers. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unfortunately.

Stayed in June 2022. Let me begin with saying that the hotel was welcoming from the beginning when we arrived at 1am until we had checked out. Staff were super friendly and tried to help at every instant. Breakfast was OK as the sizes of foods like croissants and breakfast sausages were small but you could go up as many times as you should be able to. There was a comprehensive choice of food from the Med and everything was fresh! What let down the trip was the pure arrogance of the old farts who stayed at the hotel as guests, probably those who have left the 1* reviews. Staff do not get paid enough to deal with the incredible rudeness I saw them receive, specifically by those too stupid to ask about dinner services at reception they had paid for. Anyway, the beach was a literal 30 sec walk away from the hotel and the beach was always busy so I would head down to reserve your sun beds around 8/9am. The main pool is always busy and the oldies get up at around 6/7am to reserve their pool spaces, so wouldn't recommend going to the pool past 10am unless you like the smell of old BO. Cleanliness was brilliant and cleaners would adhere to any problems you may have. Food was amazing at dinner and fresh as stated before. Drinks do not come included so be prepared for this. Overall a great trip and experience, apart from the guests, would go again!
