★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το παρεκκλήσι του Αγίου Ελευθερίου χτίστηκε το 1983 στο ρέμα της Βάλτας και δίπλα στο μνημείο των 27 εκτελεσμένων αντιστασιακών από τους Γερμανούς στις 23 Φεβρουαρίου 1944. Το γεγονός περιγράφει γλαφυρά ο φιλόλογος-λογοτέχνης Δημήτρης Τσιάλας στο βιβλίο του «Τα παιδικά χρόνια του Δήμου» και στις σελίδες 102 -103. Κάθε χρόνο διεξάγεται το ετήσιο μνημόσυνο των πεσόντων.
The chapel of Agios Eleftherios was built in 1983 in the stream of Valta and next to the monument of the 27 resistance fighters executed by the Germans on February 23, 1944. The event is vividly described by the philologist-writer Dimitris Tsialas in his book "The childhood years of the Municipality" and in pages 102 -103. The annual memorial service for the fallen is held every year.
