 On the hill at the end of Jerisoss on the way to Ouranopolus, on the right side there is a beautiful view of the whole of Jerisoss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Θέα καταπληκτική!όμορφο κιόσκι για να ξαποστάσεις και ιδανικό για πικ νικ!για άλλη μια φορά ένα όμορφο και όλως παραδόξως καθαρό και πολύ εύκολα προσβάσιμο μέρος μένει ανεκμετάλλευτο και κυρίως ασυντήρητο! Παρ'όλα αυτά αξίζει την επίσκεψη!
Amazing view! Beautiful gazebo for sunbathing and ideal for a picnic! Once again a beautiful and completely strangely clean and very easily accessible place remains unexploited and mostly unmaintained! Nevertheless worth the visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier, auf einer Anhöhe, ganz unscheinbar, befinden sich die Überreste der antiken Siedlung Akanthos, die wahrscheinlich im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. gegründet wurde.
Auf der Vasileos Konstantinou Straße Richtung Hafen von Ierissos fahren. Auf der rechten Seite, in einer Kurve, befindet sich ein Feldweg, in diesen einbiegen. Der Rest des Weges ist zu Fuß zu bestreiten.
Die Stelle ist frei zugänglich, kein Eintritt.
Zu sehen gibt es Mauerreste, Amphoren, Säulen, Brunnen... Ein Stück weiter oben befindet sich ein Aussichtspunkt, der einen fantastischen Blick auf Ierissos bietet, ein Spaziergang, der sich lohnt.
Weiterhin kann ich auch die Nekropole, Teil des antiken Friedhofs Akanthos, sehr empfehlen. Diese befindet sich, ebenfalls unscheinbar, im Zentrum von Ierissos, in der Dimokratias Straße, in der Nähe der Kirche Agios Nikolaos.

I can also highly recommend the necropolis, part of the ancient Akanthos cemetery. This is also inconspicuous, in the center of Ierissos, on Dimokratias Street, near the church of Agios Nikolaos.

Here you can find remnants of the time of ancient Hellenes, Romans and medieval Byzantium. The preserved is not much, but it gives an idea of what the ancient city once constituted. No entrance.
