★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it! The owner is super nice and friendly, we went there nearly every day of our stay. The food is tasty and the view beautiful. It's clean and the sunbeds at the sea are totally fine and for free if you eat and drink there. We really liked the host, he helped us even with the best way back to Heraklion and other little questions. We ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can recommend all of it. The prices are totally fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location in this peaceful costal village of the scenic southeast coast of crete. Nikos the manager and his team are welcoming and friendly. They serve good foods both european and greek and their terrace facing the deep blue ocean is the perfect lunch break for those driving through the stunning views of the geopark

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, friendly and funny staff, amazing view and a cozy atmosphere. Also some beautiful kittens to cuddle.
Edit. Had to change my opinion. The other times food was okay, but not as good as in other taverns in krete. Drinks highly problematic, beer is okay, wine also, but cocktails or longdrinks very expensive and very bad. Prices in generell to high for the food quality. The first time there was way better, other days the feeling in the tavern (welcomed, friendliness etc) and quality got worse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can’t come to Xerokampos without visiting Nikos. Amazing spot, food and atmosphere. Having lunch here was the highlight of our holiday in this beautiful spot. Everything was delicious, good value and we always felt so welcome. Great selection of Greek, and Cretan, beers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst pasta with seafood in my life. They even forgot to add the salt to pasta itself.
Place looks great, but kitchen is bad. They add surimi sticks! Absolutely no taste of seafood, because of tomato sauce. Dish do not look like in card. Worst..worstest! Wife ordered lamb. Also bad. Not recommend. The biggest disappointment of whole vacation.
P.s. worst complement, worst raki.
