★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After exploring Naxos, I wanted a sweet treat so I stopped by this place after I saw one of the staff walking in with fresh pastries. I opted for a chocolate covered chocolate mousse - I was in the mood for some chocolate overload. The pastry was superb and definitely fresh. The dark chocolate had the exact right level of bitter to sweet ratio so it was easy to devour the entire thing without feeling like I might lapse into a sugar coma. I also had a frappé and it was OK.
The service blows - don't expect friendly smiles over here, but their desserts are worth it. If you're planning to eat there, then make sure to sit at a table because the girl behind the counter won't take your order...

The macaron are a MUST in Aktaion!
They are awarded by the French embassy of Greece, in my opinion they are similar level to those of La Douree in Paris!
Unique flavours, and my favourites were Aegean flavour, lavender, basil olive oil and pergamot!
They are a perfect match with espresso or cappuccino and of course to take them back home to continue to taste Greece in a bite!
The violet ice cream flavour was also quite unique and the aegina pistachio baklava bites as well!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best pastry boutique in the island. We bought ice cream, it tasted amazing and the raspberry flavor was outstanding. Sadly we didn’t find it the second time we visited as we went back specifically for that flavor. Scoops are generous. We asked to taste some flavors before buying and there was no issues at all.
