★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a restaurant rather than a taverna. Located in a pleasingly green area, there is a small park from the restaurant. The service is fine, the wine was of a very good quality, and the food very tasty with huge portions. The atmosphere is not that Greek more of a international vibe but airy and pleasant with lots of light. It is not on the tourist trail but if you want to see another side of Greek culture, the side resembling international style come here. Very good value and nice to look over a park which is a rarity in Athens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Alexandra Restaurant is such a reliable choice that, year after year, every time we visit Athens and stay nearby, we enjoy at least two meals there. It's also not far from the wonderful National Archeological Museum. Service is friendly and almost family-like and the choice of food, both homemade traditional Greek and more international fare is perfect. The restaurant has a nice terrace surrounded by greenery across from a small neighborhood park. Value for money is clear in the very reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plates and portions were big. Food was just OK but the French fries were not fresh. House wine was not that good. Nothing exceptional, used to be excellent but they possibly changed the cook. Friendly service, good prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just enjoyed a fabulous meal in this lovely little restaurant. The food was fab, started with their homemade bread and dips which was amazing. Moved on to mains and found portions to be huge and food to be incredibly delicious. Finished off with a free desert - again very delicious. Overall for 2 meals and drinks it was 25€ plus tip. Outstanding service in a very homely atmosphere. Friendly staff and very good service. My partner and I both wish we’d found it at the start of our stay so we could visit again! 100% recommend to anyone visiting Athens.
