Very arrogant and rude man who i assume was owner thinking he was a cut above me and my wife. My wife was undecided about a ring in window for sale here and another jeweller in oia. I took a photo from window so she could look and think on purchase overnight. The owner then spoke to me with an arrogant, rude tone about taking photos. He tried to stare me out as if he was gonna punch me of which i stared back to let him know i wasnt intimidated by his aggressive unprofessional manner. After that decision on purchase was made wouldnt give this a hole my hard earned cash

Buyer Beware!! We told Pauline that we had a 3-hour layover in Athens before a very tight connection in Paris to US. She told us to go to customs in Athens to get back the 24% VAT. In Athens we were informed that VAT receipt is stamped in the final exit from the EU. There was no time once I got to Paris. She has been in the business for decades and knows that Greece is part of the EU. This cost me $700. I would never have bought the item, had she told the truth. A boldface lie was told just to make the sale from a naive trusting tourist. If she is unethical about this, then where does the behavior end?

I purchased a ring from Alexandros during our recent trip to Santorini. It was a pressure free experience. The ring is stunning! Alexandros has by far the best jewelry in all of Santorini. They also have a store in Fira. During my visit to Alexandros, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Mr. Alexandro). My interaction with him was exceptional! He was very personable and took the time to explain how the piece was made. If I ever visit Greece again, I will be sure to buy from Alexandros jewelry again.

The most gorgeous jewelry and best customer service! Of course it’s an elite experience, it’s Alexandros! The only negative reviews this place has is because people were not respectful and taking pictures of custom designed pieces that should only be reserved for the rights of those who purchase. It’s wonderful, elegant, and timeless. I’m so pleased with everything we’ve bought from Alexandros. My husband and I visited Santorini in September 2019. We loved everything about this spectacular Greek Island and wanted to bring a memory home with us. We went to Alexandros in Oia and were lured into the store by a Greek American saleswoman. She captured a photo of us outside the store and proceeded to bring us inside and showed us some lovely, but very expensive necklaces. I love and appreciate fine jewelry but steer away from large, heavy statement pieces -just not my style. I settled on an 18 k Greek coin pendant and was floored when our saleswoman systematically reduced the price to half of what she originally quoted! Should have been a red flag but we were relaxed and on vacation mode and succumbed to her sales maneuvers. She proceeded to provide us with a VAT tax form and insisted that we not attempt to turn in the form at the airport in Athens when we were heading back to the states. She said we’d get a quicker refund if we held onto the envelope she provided and “simply mail it in a US mailbox upon our return to the US.” Second red flag but we took the bait. When we went to the post office in the US to mail the documents, we were quoted a stamp price of more than $50 USD!! We did some research and sent the envelope via UPS for just under $30! We weren’t expecting much more than a $100 refund so the postage was a huge percentage of that! We are now approaching February 2020 and still no VAT refund from Alexandros! Our memories of Santorini are still wonderful -we won’t allow Alexandros to taint our experience. That being said, avoid Alexandros Jewelers and their pushy sales force and buy your souvenirs elsewhere. There’s a plethora of choices! Buyers beware!!

STAY AWAY!!! I honestly believe the only positive reviews are friends and family, if you think about making a purchase here and find out you were taken it will be your own fault. Horrible customer service, inferior jewelry. If you read other reviews you will see that the warning signs were there.

We were very happy with our experience here. We bought a gold necklace, and a gold Mask of Agamemnon pendant. The people could not have been nicer. A wonderful experience at a very fine jewelery story. Ignore the negative reviews here.

STORE IN OIA: the worst experience ever!!! I have even sent an email to them!! I'm sorry that I have to give 1 star to write this review. they are the rudest people I have aver met. The woman inside the store, with the plastic “mask” has been the rudest person in the entire island. She assaulted me just because I took a picture to the window and I didn’t see the signal with “no take pictures”: there is a WAY to speak with people, in particular if they could be customers. You never know if a customer could spend the money, so think before being rude like this. I will NOT And NEVER recommend this store to ANYBODY. But FORTUNATELY I AM on vacation, and being that rude don’t help the tourism in your country at all. Bye bye and see you never again
