Otherwise very cool natural place look at and to walk around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there in late September and the lake was devoid of water. It is bleak, spectacular and totally deserted with some unpleasant fly tipping round the edges.
We went in a jeep and would not recommend this in a regular car. Take plenty of water.
It's definitely worth it. Oh, and drive carefully, we spotted a couple of tortoises crossing the road.
