C	Christina Pelosi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though the grounds are beautiful, and it appears to be a good place to stay, after a few hours we realized there's something wrong with this place. First of all, it is swarming with flies (no where else on the island is). We tried to brush it off and had dinner in their restaurant. Immediately after I was violently ill with food poisoning. Safe to say we can identify the source of the flies, which had been coming from the kitchen. After being sick all night, it was impossible to get any rest in the morning between the roosters and the doors slamming. Sound travels from room to room and you can hear the doors of every room and bathroom on the floor. The cleaning staff must have knocked on the door 3 x too even when it was obvious we were in the room. Upon arrival, we were given vouchers for free juice and coffee at the pool bar. Nice gesture, if only anyone had been working there to fulfill it! Pool area was totally silent, and also swarming with flies. We walked down to a beach restaurant to spend the day. The Ippocampus was our only positive experience on this island.
L	Liz B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was amazing. The bartenders were EXCEPTIONAL, especially Patricia who went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. I was traveling alone and she showed me Naxos when her shift was over. All hotels should have someone like this on their payroll. Zoe was an AMAZING front desk rep who became a instant friend. The only complaint I have is with the lack of privacy. I felt at times that my privacy was invaded by the maintenance staff.
I	Ingrid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, clean rooms, with comfortable beds and quiet airconditioning. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pool. Exceptionally nice staff, from front desk to cleaning ladies. A large variety of lovely breakfast foods each morning. Far enough away from crowds, but within walking distance to town.
S	Sue King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 4 nights at this Hotel and we loved it. I did upgrade us to a junior suite as it was our anniversary. The room was lovely and plenty of sockets which we need in this day and age for phones etc. The location was perfect.. right on the beach with a boardwalk into town for meals in the evening .. The staff were lovely and very helpful .. breakfast had plenty of choice.. I will definitely stay again.
R	Ruth Long on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms were okay and clean, but dated. It was in a great location for beach access/restaurants and water sports. The pool area was lovely, but full of smokers. Mosquitoes were also prevalent due to it's close proximity to a swampy area. Breakfast was incredible. Dinner was great! Just really hard to avoid the chain smokers.

Our room was well outfitted (seemed newly redone, but I can’t speak for all the rooms), the pool is pretty, everything is well kept. The food is good but not amazing, the drinks are fairly priced. The beach outside is a bit crowded but still fantastic for sunbathing and swimming. Only real issue: shower in room needs a shower curtain, for privacy and water containment - bathrobes would be a plus.

Stelios is the owner of the place and he made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is ideally situated on the beach and within walking distance to the Naxos city center. If I go back to Naxos I will definitely stay again at Alkyoni Hotel.
