Amalia Hotel - καλογριας

Credo che sia il posto più tranquillo e rilassante di tutta la mia lunga vita da turista errante. Pulito, immerso tra i pini di Kalogria (il paesino-che-non-c'è), quando lo lasci vieni colto dal terrore di rimmergerti nel mondo caotico di cui hai fatto a meno per una intera vacanza, e ti domandi per qual motivo doverci proprio ritornare...

Personale molto cordiale. Pulizia in ogni luogo. l'hotel immerso nella pineta è perfetto anche per i cani dove sono ben accetti. Le camere ampie e piene di luce. Lo dico da italiano: caffè e cappuccino ottimi!!!! Ricco buffet di colazione. Consigliatissimo!

Very nice place.

I had a great time! The simplicity and the possibilities of the area are impressive. Its one breath away from the beach and the beautiful protected forest! The owners are so warm and helpful with everything. I absolutely recommend it if you love nature and want to experience traditional greek hospitality

The people who run this place are amazing. They are so kind and very hostpitable. They also served a good, local wine. For us it was also the first good wine we had in Greece. The owner also went with us to this local winery witch was very interesting. The breakfast they serve is more continental but still with some greek touches. They had something that looked like a apple strudel that was quite delicious. Also our room and balcony was very spacious. If you need some time to your self you can easily pull back in your room or sit on your balcony and even enjoy your own drinks because you have a fridge in the room. The rooms are very clean. While having breakfast our room would be cleaned allready. The place is also very at peace. It van get very windy at night, so al you can hear at night are the nature sounds of the surrounding like the wind and the sea. We had such a good stay over here we would recommend this.

Driving down the private drive to the hotel, you could imagine that this was a rustic retreat in Africa with the wonderful trees and sandy but also green surroundings. You can hear the sea from the downstairs outside lounge area and your balcony outside your room. The owners, Costas and Perikles are the most delightful people you could ever meet and are warm and welcoming and the best of everything Greece has to offer. One or the other was there to bring drinks in the day and these were always a complied by snacks. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and had good AC. The showers are due for an upgrade but apart from that, a good sleep was had. The location is perfect in terms of an empty sandy beach 15 minutes walk away and a conservation forest and lagoon a drive away. Within walking distance there's a really basic, but friendly and well cooked food restaurant and about 10 more minutes away a quite unique amazing restaurant with a view of the mountain. The breakfast was amazing and proper filter coffee was continuously been brought to the open eartng area. Everything was on offer and the best scrambled egg I've had in my like was cooked to order. Hopefully ..the pics say it all. Our thanks to the brothers who went above and beyond. This is the perfect retreat from the noise of everyday city life.

Amazing place!!! Warmest hospitality, we immediately felt incredibly welcome and at home. Very comfortable big rooms with all the necessities you could ever need. The location is tucked away from the road, in the cool breeze under tall pine trees, making it extremely relaxing. At the same time it's minutes away from the beach and bar... Our dog was welcome and had a lovely time, possibly as much as we did. Place and owners come highly recommended and we hope to be able to visit again next year for a little longer!
