The restaurant, under new ownership, had only been opened a few days but the food was fantastic and the welcome from Adonis, his family and staff was very friendly and relaxed. We had the very best calamari we have ever tasted, a wonderful cretan salad with about a kilo of tomatoes in it and superb shrimps. I thought that shrimps went from mini all the way up to jumbo, colossal and super colossal but I now find that a new size - humongous - needs to be added. A starter of delicately fried hornbeam ( I am not sure the translation is accurate - probably super sized whitebait would be about right) and a lovely chilled local white wine completed the meal. We ordered for two and could easily have fed four. Very reasonably priced and simply a wonderful location on the beach. Top of our list when we return to Crete.
Z	Zuzanna Hada on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to visit this palce late eventing about 10.30 pm. at Saturday because place looks like a local restaurant and was a lot of Greek people. Unfortunately because of late time and a lot of people there was a lack of food. Think its a good sign that was lack of food, probably there is a good food. we had opportunity to drink a glass of wine and beer. I get 5* because of really nice waitress and her service. Maybe next time we will try some dishes from menu

A great relaxed atmosphere with a traditional Greek feel over looking the sea. Heaven. We will be back thank you

The food and wine are delicious, and so fresh, I'm still dreaming about the spicy cheese dip. Some of the best food I've had in Greece. Super welcoming and friendly. It was so good that we came back every day of our holiday, we felt like part of the family! Thanks for the best time, and do try the lobster if you go!
