★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem in the mountains of northern Greece, Zagori.
I'm a kind of a person that hard to satisfy, as a photographer I give attention to small details.
When I arrive at the hotels I tend to give attention to the least reached places and the corners, especially in the bathroom.
This hotel is something else,
It's highly maintained and I could not find any issues!
The breakfast every morning is very reach and comforting and the staff will do beyond to make you happy and relaxed.
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom and pampering.
The surrounding area is mountainous and rich in epic scenery, waterfalls, and virgin forests.
I've paid fully with my own money and am not sponsored in any way,
I totally recommend this place for nature lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel looks nice and all but don't be confused, it's hard to sleep because there's alot of noise around you and the mattresses are hard as rock. When I slept here two bugs crawled on me at night, a spider and an ant, I also found a dead fly and mosquito inside next to the window.
You don't have a mini fridge and the nearest supermarket is 15 min away in another city, I wouldn't recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came for 4 nights with our 3 kids. The owner Dimitris made us feel as though we were family, guided us to the best restaurants and trail hikes. It is a wonderful place. It is well situated, a beautiful building and place. I hope we will have the opportunity to come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights in June. Lovely hotel in a quiet village of Ano Pedina where locals actually live in. You feel you’re part of the local community. Other villages like Monodendri and Vitsa are more commercialised but just as pretty. Do take note that there are not many restaurants or facilities in Ano Pedina itself. We ate all our meals in the hotel restaurant, which is more than sufficient for our needs. Staff were all extremely helpful, joyous and friendly, and we seldom ever feel so comfortable around hotel personnel as we did in Ameliko. They seem genuinely happy to work there. If you have a car definitely check this place out. Within easy reach of other villages in the area, for hiking, etc.
The room was comfortable if a little small. Resembles an English B&B. Quaint and cozy. Breakfast buffet is small but delicious and they make one of the best coffees I’ve ever tasted in a hotel.
