I booked at their partner hotel (Aspalathras) and I had a free entrance to Chora pool and bar. So this review is only about the pool bar. I ordered a Greek salad and it was nothing special: I was expecting a lot more from a 5 star hotel. On the other hand the pool is amazing.

Rooms: Small but correct. Slightly old furniture. WC: Quite old and small Pool: Nice but without sea views. Price: We paid 240€ for one night which is far too much for what the hotel offers. Service: Quite low flexibility in terms of schedules.

The pool is big and deep, but please note that the pool paint is sometimes sticks to you if you touch the pool walls. Food is OK.

Very sad experience. I had a group traveling there and one of the travelers lost their father to COVID two weeks prior and I notified the hotel just 2 days after the refund cut-off and they would not budge! There were other issues as well. Management is poor. Don't ever expect any consideration from them.

Very poorly integrated in the chora architecture, and lacking charme. However, it is a very good choice for families, with its large (even if ugly) pool area. Location is great, close to the bus stop and the chora, with a good shuttle service to the ferry. Very good breakfast, internet was quite unstable.

No no no. This hotel is totally a nightmare. Please read all of the reviews on google and other platforms before taking a decision. Do not make the mistake of looking at the overall rating. It does not give an accurate picture of what to expect. Don’t be fooled. This is not the kind of place you want to be stuck with for vacation. This hotel is not following covid guidelines and separately is not clean. Plenty of others have said the same before me. The pool has an oder and seems over chlorinated. The bed sheets have yellow stains and are the cheapest quality possible. The bed is really uncomfortable too. It’s not just stiff but it’s also just not supportive/weirdly lumpy from the springs. There is no hot water in the shower. The WiFi does not work. This is a very poorly run hotel. The manager does not seem to care at all. She was made aware of these issues and did nothing to address the problems. She is very eager to take your money and that’s it. There is also no care for covid testing needs to get off the island so be aware, you are very much on your own. The island doesn’t even have a hospital! Is truly such a shame because the island is very nice and this hotel does not make you want to return. This was such a stressful experience. I should also add that the wardrobe smelled mildew-y and was damp to the touch. There is also no water provided and you cannot drink the tap water. The hotel charges 3 euros per bottle of water. The breakfast is very poor with low quality products. I mentioned this to the manager and she said our preference is not her problem. This place feels like such a scam. So sad. No wonder they have very rigid cancellation policies! They must not get repeat customers! Such an unprofessional manager. The only staff that were helpful and nice are the bus driver and the receptionist- both don’t have any authority to do anything, however. Everything is decided by the manager ionnna ! I get the impression the staff are mistreated because they seem very timid around her! Shocking! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are better options. A lot better options, and for less money!

Yikes. This place is very run down and not clean!! The beds are very uncomfortable. The bedding is itchy/scratchy and thin. The pillows are hardly functional they are so flat. The manager is very difficult to deal with. Very hostile to say the least. Ive stayed at other hotels on this island and would recommend staying somewhere else since there are much better options to this hotel. Unfortunately they were all booked and this place was the only one with a bunch of availability. I should have seen that as a red flag. I can’t believe they claim to be a 4 star hotel. Such false advertising! Honestly this is much more like a motel. It’s totally unacceptable that they charge $285+ per night for such poor accommodations. Not even properly cleaned! There were hairs in the bed from who knows what guest prior. Gross! The manager did nothing to elevate our concerns. She refused to provide new bedding. Totally unacceptable. Especially during covid! The pool also has scum and debris on the bottom. How is this okay?! Also stay alert to unexpected charges. Wow! Also note that the WiFi here is barely functional. The water from the shower is also cold / Luke warm maximum !! Barely any water pressure too! I feel so uncomfortable! WiFi was spotty at best. I do not recommend this hotel at all. This was not a relaxing stay at all! The manager is the worst ! Folegandros apartments and Aeri are two hotels I have stayed at that are very near in location. The rooms and facilities are much nicer and honestly the cost is cheaper than this terrible hotel.

This place is so dirty and run down. The staff are not wearing masks indoors. They use the same gloves to serve food as they do to wipe the table. The breakfast is buffet style - during covid! The tongs for the food rest on top of the food. This is so disgusting. I had to go out for breakfast every morning and there truly are not a lot of options for this unless you go to another hotel nearby (and there are a few) to get something basic for about 8-12 euro. What a shame. The bathroom is very small. You have to maneuver around the toilet to close the door to get to the shower. Not comfortable. The toiletries they provide are cheap. The room itself is surprisingly small. They show pictures with multiple beds in a room for 3-4 people but it’s a total bait and switch situation. It’s one double bed and bench/couch they call a bed that has no sheets/blankets or pillows. It’s smaller and shorter than a day bed but about that for reference. It’s also not a real mattress. Sort of like a futon. Regardless- it’s really not okay that they sell such a small room without enough beds for 3-4 people. My room was actually supposed to be suitable for a family of 4 so this setup was a total disaster. The hotel WiFi truly not functional. I had to pay extra for my own provider to get any service. Could not use the WiFi at all. Cost me a lot. The pool has a bad smell like it’s been over chlorinated. My skin feels very irritated from being in the pool for just some minutes. The rooms are not comfortable at all. The sheets are scratchy and there is nothing more than a top sheet to get any comfortable. There is also limiter hot water in the shower. I asked the manager about getting blankets and fixing the water issue and she basically said too bad that’s what it is. I can’t believe they advertise they are a 4 start hotel. This is no where close. I regret choosing this hotel. I have stayed at better hotels on the island but they were booked this time. So sad. This was such a miserable and stressful experience. I do not recommend staying here. The management is terrible and it’s honestly just such a waste of money. This feels like such a nightmare scam! I do not recommend staying here. The manager Ioanna should be ashamed.
