If you have time to spare it's definitely worth the ascent to the very top of the archaeological site of Delphi. You can just imagine the roars of spectators back in it's prime during the Pythian Games in honor of the God Apollo.

It is worth to go to the top to see stadium which is well preserved. It takes about 1km to the stadium. Stadium is about 180m long. The Pithian games were held here.

I really liked it: it was worth the climb ? Quite a lot to see, not just a pile of rubble. Apparently the 2nd largest games (running, wrestling, discus and so forth) where held here only superseded by the Olympic games in Athens.

It was such a hike to get up there, but it was amazing, and definitely worth the time! Make sure you bring enough water because you will need it after the trek up! There are plenty of trees for shade and they have benches to sit on and rest, too. It is unbelievable how well preserved it is!

Incredible end to the hike up the hill past all the sites of Delphi. Part of a great tour there as well.

Worth the climb! Depending on weather and humidity, the path up can be a struggle. However, it’s worth it! The views are incredible.

Greatly organised archaeological site. It's an about 30min walk from the entrance to the stadium. I would recommend comfortable shoes and water. Not accessible with wheelchair (from what I noticed), and a bit hard to access for people with moving difficulty too. I would recommend calling and asking about accessibility just to be sure. Clean, and easy to navigate and read info about what you see.

It was very busy when we went here. Not a long walk to get to the stadium. A lot of other ruins to see along the way. It was amazing to see the ruins of Ancient Greece. Not much shade along the way. Bring plenty of water and a hat or umbrella for shade.
