Ε	ΕΥΓΕΝΙΑ ΤΑΣΣΟΥ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένας αρχαιολογικός χώρος επιβλητικός, σε σημείο με εξαιρετική θέα που, ίσως, δεν έχει αναδειχτεί όσο θα έπρεπε. Αν και υπάρχει πάντα κάποιος στην είσοδο, η πρόσβαση στο σημείο είναι μέτριας δυσκολίας, καθώς οι πινακίδες δεν βοηθούν και πολύ. Στα θετικά η απόλυτη θέα του Κορινθιακού κόλπου. An imposing archeological site, in a place with an exceptional view that, perhaps, has not emerged as it should. Although there is always someone at the entrance, access to the spot is of moderate difficulty, as the signs do not help much. On the positive side the absolute view of the Corinthian gulf.
A	Athina Alafouzou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η μουσικοθεατρική παράσταση «Ελπίς πατρίδος» αφιερωμένη στην επέτειο των 200 ετών από την ελληνική επανάσταση, ήταν εξαιρετική !!! Με τον Μανώλη Μητσιά, τον Γρηγόρη Βαλτινό και τη Μαρία Καλλιμάνη, επιμέλεια της Μαρίας Παναγιωτακοπούλου και του Σάκη Παπαδημητρίου. Συμμετείχαν η Έλενα Λεώνη και ο Νίκος Παρασκευόπουλος. Εξαιρετικοί κ όλοι οι καλλιτέχνες !!! Αναμφίβολα ήταν μια πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία κάτω απο την εκπληκτική πανσέληνο του Αυγούστου . Ευτυχώς η παράσταση αλλά και το οτι κρατούσαν τα μέτρα ασφαλείας λόγω Covid, μας αποζημίωσαν για την ταλαιπωρία του ποδαρόδρομου μέσα σε χωματόδρομο και κυρίως μέσα στο σκοτάδι. Αρχικά υπήρχε ένας άνθρωπος που μας υπέδειξε τον χώρο parking, ο οποίος όμως άφηνε να περνούν μέχρι το θέατρο οι «γνωστοί των φορέων». Δυστυχώς δεν υπήρχε καμμία υποδομή για τη διαδρομή από το parking μέχρι το θέατρο και τούμπαλιν που ήταν αρκετή ώρα ποδαρόδρομος στην άσφαλτο αλλά και σε χωματόδρομο. Αργότερα όταν τελείωσε η παράσταση, δυσκολευτήκαμε πολύ να φτάσουμε στο parking, γιατί η διαδρομή εκτός απο το οτι ήταν μέσα στο σκοτάδι ( παρόλη την πανσέληνο) υποστήκαμε και το χώμα -σκόνη των αυτοκινήτων που είχαν προηγουμένως περάσει , ενώ εμείς περπατούσαμε για να φτάσουμε στο parking. 21/8/2021 The musical-theatrical performance "Hope of the Fatherland" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Greek revolution, was exceptional !!! With Manolis Mitsias, Grigoris Valtinos and Maria Kallimani, curated by Maria Panagiotakopoulou and Sakis Papadimitriou. Elena Leoni and Nikos Paraskevopoulos participated. Excellent and all the artists !!! Undoubtedly it was a very beautiful experience under the stunning full moon of August. Fortunately, the show and the fact that the security measures were taken due to Covid, compensated us for the inconvenience of the sidewalk in a dirt road and especially in the dark. Initially, there was a man who pointed out the parking space to us, but he let the "acquaintances of the institutions" pass to the theater. Unfortunately there was no infrastructure for the route from the parking lot to the theater and tubalin which was quite a footpath on the asphalt but also on a dirt road. Later, when the show ended, we had a hard time getting to the parking lot, because the route, apart from being in the dark (despite the full moon), we also suffered from the dust of the cars that had previously passed, while we walked to get to the parking lot. . 21/8/2021
T	Taniolap on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα ακόμη υπέροχο αρχαιοελληνικό θέατρο που μοιάζει να αιωρείται πάνω από τον Κορινθιακό!! Αν το προσεγγίσεις από τον Κόμβο Δερβενίου και πάρεις το δρόμο προς Φενεό, Ροζενά, Άνω Αιγιαλό, η σήμανση είναι ελλιπής κι ο δρόμος στενός αλλά γραφικός μέσα από ελαιώνες. Ωστόσο ο κοφτός δρόμος μέσα από την Αιγείρα και το χωριό Λαμπρινό είναι συντομότερος!! Ελεύθερη η είσοδος, ανοιχτό μέχρι τις 3.30 μ.μ. κλειστό τις Τρίτες. Ο νεαρός φύλακας ευγενικός και ειλικρινής προς τις ανύπαρκτες γνώσεις του προς το αρχαίο δημιούργημα που η ζωή τον έφερε φρουρό του ... Χτισμένο περί το 250π.Χ.κατά τα χρόνια της Αχαϊκής Συμπολιτείας, σε υψόμετρο 350μ. εν μέρει λαξευμένο στο φυσικό βράχο, το θέατρο ατενίζει το γαλάζιο της θάλασσας Η συνολική χωρητικότητά του ανέρχεται σε 3.000 θεατές, ενώ το μήκος του φθάνει τα 30.70μ. Οι ανασκαφές άρχισαν το 1916 από το Αυστριακό Αρχαιολογικό Ινστιτούτο και συνεχίζονται μέχρι σήμερα. Another wonderful ancient Greek theater that seems to hover over the Corinthian !! If you approach it from the Derveni Junction and take the road to Feneo, Rozena, Ano Aegialo, the signage is incomplete and the road is narrow but picturesque through olive groves. However, the short road through Aigeira and the village of Lambrino is shorter !! Admission is free, open until 3.30 p.m. closed on Tuesdays. The young guardian polite and honest to his non-existent knowledge of the ancient creation that life brought him as his guardian ... Built around 250 BC during the years of the Achaean Confederation, at an altitude of 350m. partly carved into the natural rock, the theater overlooks the blue sea The total capacity is 3,000 spectators, while its length reaches 30.70m. Excavations began in 1916 by the Austrian Archaeological Institute and continue to this day.

The atmosphere and the view on the gulf of Corinth are amazing as the site dominates the see underneath and it faces the sanctuary of Delphi, located in mount Parnassus on the other shore of the gulf.

The first excavations in the area of Ancient Aigeira began in 1916 by the Austrian Archeological Institute. According to the excavations, the theater is dated to the Hellenistic period at the 3rd century B.C. and as many other ancient theaters in Greece, it was rehabilitated and reconstructed during the Roman period. The theater has wonderful panoramic view over the Gulf of Corinth and it is well-worth a visit, if only to sit in one of the stone seats, to enjoy the beauty of the amazing view and to feel the wonderful sense of how it felt to be a viewer at that historic era when it was active!!
