Anema Residence - Unnamed Road

The apartments are cool, beautiful, and quiet despite being all joined into one building. Vourvoulous is a short drive from Fira and on the road to Oia, and you'll be given the option of a car during your stay. The restaurant in the hotel serves amazing dinner for very cheap! The staff are excellent with young children. We had a great relaxing time and wish we'd stayed longer!

Beautiful views, with a clean villla that was well kept, including little things like having outdoor candles lit at night. Restaurant on the property had amazing food, and the inclusion of a rental car makes this a great deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even providing pick up and drop off from the port/airport.

Maria and her staff are fantastic. Welcoming and warm, anema residence offers charm, views and relaxation. Breakfast is on the house, you get a free rental car with the room and if you don't like to drive Maria or one of her partners will take you wherever you'd like to go. Pick up and drop off at the airport is a plus and also seamless. My only regret is not staying longer!

Everything was just wonderful - beat our expectations and then much more. The superlative service and care began long before we actually arrived on Santorini - this was our honeymoon trip so we had a week on Crete before coming to Santorini. It was Maria of Anema that messaged us letting us know our ferry was cancelled from Crete due to strike action rather than the ferry company. This was days before we were due to come - she offered us discounted accommodation here if we wanted to come earlier. Her care and attention to detail saw us right on what could have been a big problem - the ferry company only notification us some 12 ahead that yet, it was definitely cancelled. Yet she knew and helped us out. This level of care and kind service continued as soon as we were off the boat - our driver from Amena was wonderful and gave us a tour of the island with local insight when we arrived. We arrived to a really warm welcome with wine waiting. The facilities here are beautiful, well maintained and just gorgeous to spend time in. The location is perfect as it’s quiet and peaceful, looking out to sea with a 5 minute walk to a lovely spot on the beach with Thera, Oia etc only maybe 10-15 minutes away in the car. This place has everything. The restaurant is run by Dimitri, a superb chef (you must have dinner in the restaurant, everything is amazing, fresh and prepared beautifully). It’s well priced and has a great, diverse menu with fresh specials. We were served first of all by Mary - again such a lovely and helpful lady. So in summary - enjoy the beautiful island of Santorini and base yourselves here - away from the crowds, your own private restaurant, a beach which is a stones throw from everything. The villas are beautiful, quintessential Santorini and will not disappoint. Bust most of all - because of the people - their approach is so professional and efficient but not remotely ‘corporate’ - they genuinely care about you and for us, it made our honeymoon even more special. Maria, Irene, Dimitiri, Mary, the whole team - thank you. We will be back!!

Maria and her whole staff are fantastic. They are like family to each other and extend that joy to all of their guests! The service was personal and engaged and they did all they could to make our time in Santorini as smooth and enjoyable as possible! Maria was always around and available to help or give advice. Dimitri the in-house chef was very kind and available for lunch and dinner. We had many delicious meals by him. The villa itself was absolutely stunning, incredibly clean, quiet, and we ended up spending most of our free time on the island in our private pool and lounge area because it was so nice and convenient! The bathroom/showers were large and regularly cleaned. Whenever issues arose they were addressed within the day, if not the hour! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else than Anema and are recommending the same to everyone of our friends!

We stayed at Anema in late April/early May and it was very wonderful. Maria and staff embraced our toddler son and offered to babysit him one night, cooked him mac and cheese, and entertained him! The rooms are beautiful and Maria let us swim in the other private pools when there were not other guests in those villas. The breakfast is so amazing - lots of homemade Greek pies, and room service is available until late night - all the food is great! We even sent our parents there when they came to Santorini after us.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Anema Residence when visiting Santorini in May. The island itself is beautiful but the best part of our trip was spending time at the villa. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful but within 5-10min drive to all main sites. A car was provided as part of the package which was handy to get around the island. Myself and my wife traveled with our 5 month old baby. I highly recommend Anema for anyone travelling with a family. We were provided with a cot and the kitchen facilities meant that we could easily sterilise bottles and organise all of our baby's things. All the staff at the villa were lovely, but a special shout out to Maria and Irene who made our stay extra special. Every morning we would come down for breakfast (which was delicious!) and Maria would happily entertain our son while we ate. The villa was very clean and the facilities were fantastic. It was nice to cook on the BBQ in the evenings and the pool area was great to relax. It was a wonderful trip and I look forward to visiting again soon!
