You can just enjoy the place and teke it as a starting point for the exploration of the island. If you are tired of too many restaurants, you can cook your food and eat it in the garden, where there are tables in the shadows of the trees. The landlord, Evvangelos, (a drummer from Alexandroupoli), will help you in all the possible ways, with a really friendly attitude. We could not have found better on the island. (Visited July 2019).

You would visit the basic necessary accommodation in the spirit of the early greek inns, with all rooms facing a shared patio to the garden and an activity area for dining, drinking, reading or for evening conversations facing the sea. And last but not least - the kindest hosts who would treat you a lovely time, a coffee and a tip every morning before you hit for an adventure. We would return again. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

As experienced travellers themselves this lovely family really knows exactly what matters when you are travelling: a warm personal contact, great hospitality and a friends/family feeling, very clean rooms, comfy beds, peace and quiet, tons of advice, help with any possible question or problem you might have, and of course the perfect location and shadowy backyard and crystal clear sea at your feet. And all of this at a very reasonable price. We really loved it. It was very nice talking to Evangelos and his wife and the other guests, sharing experiences and stories under a sky full of stars. We had some trouble with a rented bike and really they helped us out so much making calls, giving us lifts, ... We will cherish these memorable days and nights and hope to be back soon!

It's close to therma and saoki and only a 10 minute drive away from the big port and phonias. There are also quite a few good restaurants nearby aswell

The garden is like in a fairy tale, a meter away from the sea, the house is authentic and in harmony with the natural surroundings. But what is adding to the spirit of the house are the hosts - very hearty, warm, are very welcoming ! It was such a pleasure staying in their sanctuary?
