★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice fortress on a mountaintop, offering amazing views and understanding of the history of the area. One of my favorite spots in Corfu. Do not miss it, it's definitely worth the 3€ entrance. Offers free parking too (assuming you can find a spot, it's very small)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imposing former fortress set high above the town of Paleostratiska, with commanding views all the way along the west coast and over to Corfu old town. Get there 5 o'clock in the afternoon at the latest, as it closes at 6. Currently 3 euros entry fee ( May, 2022). Steep climb up, no wheelchair access! Worth it for the views alone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place with beautiful view on Paleokastritsa and hills. Yep, you can climb here in flip flops. There is not much left of the fortress itself, but for the view itself it is worth it.
