Amazing 360' view of the sea and mountains (incl. Palaiokastritsa). Standard ticket price is 3€, but the cashier lady was pretty reluctant to take our payments by card explaining it with climate change :)

Some of the best views on the island are from the top of Angelokastro! The fortress has a fascinating history that makes walking through the ruins a great experience. The roads to Angelokastro are narrow and winding, but not any more so than the rest of Corfu's narrow, winding roads. People with mobility issues may have trouble climbing the path up to the top of the site.

The best panoramic view of Corfu Island. There are no tickets and probably even if listed as closed you can still enter. You can bring a small stone with you to add to numerous pebbles already placed on the castle wall.

This is a must see anytime when in Paleokastritsa !!! Being only 6-7 km away from Paleokastritsa, it offers not only full of history ruins but incredibly beautiful views from the top of a high hill. From the parkplace (where you can find drinks, gifts, souvenirs), it is pretty easy reachable after climbing some stairs (2-300 maybe). The views on top worth all the effort & time !

Lovely panoramic views, just be careful it's a steep walk and not accesibile for the less athletic. Saw several families going up with toddlers, but there are no clear paths, it's rocky and slippery and can get dangerous

Fascinating place to visit with beautiful views out to sea high above the coast and surrounding area. Views of the roads twisting down the steep hills to the village below. The old castle gives a strong and ancient presence on the hill and was a wonderful defence for the surrounding area at one time. Below, and in the grounds of the castle is a rock cave dug from the surrounding stone an astonishing feat. Above and near the front to castle walls is a tiny chapel built from the stone surrounds. Sweet and simple.

A must visit fortress mainly because of the stunning views from its superb location. Not a lot is left from the interior, so don't forget to go down the stairs to see the underground chapel as this is about the only interior location with great but faded frescoes (apart from the upper chapel that is over restored and quite dull). It takes some climbing on the stairs to enter and some sure-footed ness at the cliff side that is not guarded with railing.

it worth going up although it was noon and the sun was extremely hot. make sure you drink some refreshments before climbing the stairs. it will take you 15 min to go up and be aware that the parking doesn't have too many free lots. the entrance is 3€ and skills be paid in cash.
