Anna Plakias Apartments - Andrianou

I've been coming to Plakias for around a decade and to my knowledge this is the best place for the price in the greater area. Clean, beautiful, close to the beach, with very hospitable staff (was offered free late checkout on many occasions) and now even better with the new roof swimming pool with great sunset views. Highly recommended.

Very good taste in design and furniture, very clean and well equipped and very responsive and helpful host. Located very close to the center of Plakias and restaurants yet the location itself is very quiet.

We have stayed at Anna Plakias twice in the last 9 months and are planning our next trip. This is a very well equipped and excellently run establishment, the rooms are top quality and the service is first class. Great facilities, fast WiFi and all at a very good price.

Five stars for a very nice stay in the south of Crete. The apartment was clean and well equipped, located in convenient distance from some of the most beautiful and intimate beaches in the south. The hosts were very kind and helpful and the rooftop swimming pool was a perfect place for an evening relaxation.

I booked this apartment studio room with kitchen and private outside garden space and bathroom just before the strict Greece lockdown rules started. I was very lucky to escape the city in time to be there as Plakias is a rustic country feel despite the fact that it has many amenities and hotels for tourists too. Very attractive apartment and Plakias was easily the most beautiful place in Crete!

Whilst exploring the south coast of Crete, Anna's Apartments is an excellent place to stay. We 've spent a few days there and we would be happy to go back. The rooms are clean, nicelly decorated, big enough and fully equiped. A very well maintained family property.

We were tempted by the nice pictures and the pleasant architecture. We booked a stay for a week. On site it turned out that the walls of our room in many places is covered with fungus (green efflorescence and cracking bubbles of plaster), in the closets smell terrible stench of moisture - we did not risk putting our clothes there. Even the photo frames on the walls are swollen from the moisture. We could not sleep at night because of the stench. In the morning, the cleaning lady showed us the second room, but there we encountered exactly the same problems. Artemis - the owner admitted that he painted the walls 2 weeks earlier and that the winter was extremely long and wet. He also offered a room on the first floor, but because of the baby we couldn't take advantage of this offer (already at the stage of booking we wrote that we needed a room on the ground floor). We asked for a refund because it is dangerous for health to sleep in a moldy room and to hide the fact that there are problems with the room is simply cheating. Unfortunately Artemis refused to refund. We left in the morning helpless. We caution against this place. It is a scam
