★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are interested in ancient macedonian history, this is a must see! You can buy the tickets at the museum in Pella (and visit the museum) and afterwards go to the archaeological site. I have booked a trip from Thessaloniki for this Tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent place, time trip to ancient times. Though its so sad that constructions made back in 2009-2010 are left rotting ...Cant understand why well planned constructions made with money from Greek and EU funds, cant be maintained in adequate level...how much will cost for instance to fix a broken wood on floor or a metallic beam? That let me suppose that people working there are only interested for the balance on their salary account... not for the place their are working, neither for the ancient history and culture of their birthplace..so disappointing...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site is a real shame in terms of day to day care. In May 2022, the grass was litteraly covering the site and remains sometimes up to the knees. Splendid location, interesting background but very poor respect of this ancient legacy. Sad to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most important ancient cities, the Macedonian capital from the classic era, is a place everyone should visit. The preservation is astonishing, giving the visitor a very good insight of how the ancient city was structured.
