Από την Βρύση τρέχει νερό εδώ και κάποιο καιρό και αυτό ομορφαίνει λιγάκι τον χώρο αλλά φυσικά δεν αρκεί. Χρειάζεται δουλειά για να σωθεί από το πέρασμα του χρόνου αλλά και για να ομορφύνει. Αν βγάλετε κοντινές φωτογραφίες, σώζεται κάπως η κατάσταση..! A unique monument of Pella that stands by a miracle since it has never been preserved! However, it is safe and there is no danger. Ο τοπικός βασιλιάς προκειμένου να νυμφευθεί μία βασιλοπούλα από ορεινή τοποθεσία χρειάστηκε να κατασκευάσει υπόγειο αγωγό για να φέρει νερό καλής ποιότητας από ψηλά, απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση για να εγκριθεί ο γάμος, καθώς η περιοχή μαστιζόταν από ελονοσία. Το νερό της βρύσης μεταφέρεται από το όρος Πάικο με υπόγεια σήραγγα μήκους πάνω από 2 χιλιόμετρα, η οποία είναι αρκετά ψηλή, ώστε μπορείς να περπατάς όρθιος μέσα σ' αυτή (έχει ύψος 1.80 μ.). Αποτελεί σύμβολο και σημείο αναφοράς του αρχαίου παρελθόντος, αλλά και του σύγχρονου οικισμού. Ο περιβάλλων χώρος λίγο παραμελημένος όμως αξίζει η επίσκεψη . In the homonymous square of modern Pella very close to the new Archaeological Museum, there is the Ancient Fountain.
