★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small however highly significant museum for not only the Aegina Island but for all the Hellenic settlement situated just in the archaeological site known as Kolona. At the site you may see the ruins way back from the Prehistoric times, the Archaic-Hellenistic Acropolis, the sanctuary of Apollo and Aphaia and ultimately a Byzantine settlement. Displays fractions of pediments from the Temples, beautiful ceramic vases, sculptures and finds from all the settlements mentioned above.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is pretty old and the collection is not that impresive (compered with other archaiological museums in greece). Still it's a nice visit and a must see if you are in aegins. On the same place the archaiological site of column (κολωνα) wich was a pretty nice walk. That is what remained from the first museum that opened in modern greece when aegina was the capital. The aegina collection was the core of the national archaelogical museum in athens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintain museum with prehistoric ruin of church and many prehistoric objects. The ticket cost EUR4 each and you can get 50% discount with student card. Very quiet space with only few visitors
