Ένα πανέμορφο μνημείο τεράστιας αρχαιολογικής αξίας και εξαιρετικού ενδιαφέροντος! αρχαία μεταλλεία επεξεργασίας ασημιού!

Troska odlisne archeologicke miesto oproti yym typickym. Vstup je dokonca zdarma, je to cca na hodinku, je to naozaj velmi pekne a zaujimave. Clovek troska bude mat zdanie o tom ako spracovavali striebro staroveki greci
The wreckage is different from the archaeological site. Entry is even free, it's about an hour, it's really very nice and interesting. One wreckage will have the impression of how they worked silver antiquity greci

A very beautiful place and very well preserved! Sedimentation tanks are impressive! The place is closed and you need an appointment to visit ....

Awesome experience seeing some historical sites which show how technology came about, it's amazing to see how the Greek processed their ores centuries ago

An absolute treasure trove, if you are into this kind of thing. Although all that is visible is little more than ruins, there are very clear explanatory boards which bring it all to life (despite their pictures being upside down!). Paths around the ruins are well laid out and easy to walk on. This is our second visit, we (an electrical and a chemical engineer plus teenage sons) really loved it, plus entrance is free. You really need Google Maps to find it though, I would dread navigating Lavrio otherwise... We made a day trip out of it, starting from Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park (check opening times), then coming here, then for a swim afterwards at Pounda Zeza, then enjoying a great late lunch in one of Lavrio's tavernas. I must give credit to Athens Strollers (Anna & George) for having brought us here the first time we visited. Excellent!
