★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk through past the Sanctuary of Asclepius is beautiful, with multiple paths (stairs and slopes). The museum onsite had many interesting statues with explanation signs in Greek and English, further exploring and explaining about Asclepius. Nice for a half day out to explore and enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The theater itself is the key attraction and is very impressive. The museum does not have a lot of stuff. We did not have a lot of time to visit the rest of the site so no comments on the rest

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure to try out the acoustics of this theater. Go up to a high row and have someone stand in the center of the stage (there is a mark) and make some quiet noises. Maybe drop a pebble, talk in a normal voice. The result is remarkable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many visitors overlook this place as they visit only the ancient theater.
It is located beneath the theater and was developed due to many springs ancient Greeks thought they had healing powers. They even had a hospital built there.
From the remains you could conclude it was a fairly big city for that era.
