★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely THE BEST place in Frankocastello and maybe even further. Family owned place thwy invite you in to the kitchen to see what and hiw thwy prepare things. If my daughter wanted to eat pizza Lady told us that it frozen and we need to know what we eat... Very delicious food all kind of Greek and Cretan. They can prepare it in your way if you want. They have breakfast lunch and dinner. Good prices and nice views of the sea. I really recommend this place as a every day restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this restaurant! Agree with past comments that this is the best place to eat in Frangokastello. They invited us to the kitchen to show how they prepare the food. Our dinner was amazing. They gave us tasty appetizers with grilled bread and different dips for free. I tried the lamb cooked in wine and olive oil and it was so soft the meat was slipping off the bones. They also make their own feta cheese. They even gave us a delicious chocolate dessert, raki and fruits to cap the meal.
While the food is of better quality than nearby tavernas, the prices remain very affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful terrace above the sea, friendly and professional service, and very careful with Covid rules. The food was good and some products and drinks were produced by the family who owns the tavern. A special place, which we enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and modern tavern with tasty cretan food. Service smiling and friendly. You can see the dishes prepared in the kitchen. A tavern sheltered from the wind, which often blows in Frangokastello. If you want to eat something extra such as the sea bream they can arrange this for the next day.

The owner offered us to see the prepared food in the kitchen and we could also see the fish before it was prepared on the grill.
We really enjoyed the friendliness and felt very welcome. The food was above average in that region of the island.
