★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and nice original seaside restaurant on a idyllic spot. Very friendly staff and lots of local menus. They friendly brought to your attention that they had some very fresh big fishes which they gladly would prepare for us but suggested that this should be for at least 3 person's.
Best and freshest fish we've had for quite a time, well made and served. As was all the other menus.
A must go in our opinion if your in that part of Crete ore passing by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place having high expectations which unfortunately weren’t met.
Mistakes were made but were delt nicely by the service stuff.
Food was average.
Seafood spaghetti had frozen measles while fresh were available so they probably use a ready made frozen seafood combo. For 17.50€ that is not acceptable form my point of view. Moreover, the shrimps were pilled but their intestine was still in place giving it the crunchy-sandy bite.
Soutzoukakia sauce was watery and blunt.
Ntolmadakia while tasty needed more cooking.
If I visited again I would go for the catch of the day or grilled meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish was just amazing, fresh and really good grilled (inside soft and done and outside crunchy and not burned), Side is flexible to pick and I had my beloved feta. For free we have gotten a very interesting and tasty desert of crumbs, yoghurt and honey. Views are fantastic and it's not windy. Great for families as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is not about the food but about our stay at Mylos. We are staying in one of the barns. It is fairly basic but it is the real typical Greek experience and that’s exactly what we are after. Outside our room, we have a small terrace to have our (self catered) coffee or breakfast in the morning. It has a small shared garden with trees that give nice shade and some chairs and sun beds. But the best thing is … it is not more than 10m/ 30ft from the lovely sandy beach. Perfect for our daughter and us to go out and play or swim. And it is very affordable, compared to other similar places on Crete.
And as a bonus, the food is as nice as most other reviewers have already said.
