★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place, the horizon, the sky, the stars, the hypnotic cicadas singing... Not touristy and perfect place for escape ala back to the nature. Hope to go back there one day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ideal place to have the most relaxing vacation. Next to the beach, with outstanding exterior areas full of green. There are playgrounds for kids and hammocks around. The rooms are renovated and very clean. It was the first time that the sheets were smelling so good. Like home! The prices very reasonable for what you get. Staff at the reception very friendly. We are coming back DEFINITELY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing time at Fata Morgana.
The hotel is actually a cluster of small buildings sitting within an olive grove garnished with well-kept flower gardens (hibiscuses, geraniums etc.).
The rooms are the perfect balance between understated luxury, simplicity and comfort and you can sense that the owners have walked the extra mile to look after all those small details.
A huge pro is that it is literally a stone's throw away from the lovely Orthi Ammos beach with its crystal-clear turquoise waters. There are a couple of good taverns just across and the castle itself is a 7 mins walk.
The staff are all very professional yet ultra friendly and open.
And I found it rather reasonably priced for what you get.
Thank you Fata Morgana for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be coming back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately I can't recommend this place to anybody, I feel properly scammed and can only warn anyone about booking a studio in this facility ever.
We booked a Superior Studio three months in advance, which looks super nice on the website, modern and renovated. But be aware, to my knowledge these Studios do not exist, they never gave me the booked modern studio.
When we arrived, they told us every studio is booked out (even when i told them i booked three months in advance via their website) and gave us an unrenovated apartment which looks and feels like from 1980, very dated. We would have never booked this apartment if we knew before! See attached photos.
In 20 years of travel this never happened before and I feel so so unhappy. I rarely leave bad reviews but the owner still did nothing to make our stay more enjoyable.
Feel warned about these Studios!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apartments are located in a really relaxed and chilled area with not much traffic around it. It has been several access to the beach with makes it more amazing. The beach is is in front of the apartments is beautiful and really long and it’s not crowded at all. The stuff is really friendly and nice. The apartments are spotless clean and newly renovated. Inside you have everything you need. I would highly recommend and I cannot wait to go back.

The room is potentially very nice.
Set in olive tree forest and with view on the ocean (from the upper floor), the room is indeed nice.
However, it requires refreshing.
The staircase was tide and dangerous (especially at night for adults and children).
The bathroom was very tide (clean) but no shower curtains.
The sofa bed on the ground floor suits a child only.
The floor was not very clean.
it was very windy during our stay and since the doors are all loose, the were making noise along the night.
It is very original and different; my children still loved it.
It was good value for money though.
