★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our last dining experience of a week’s holiday in Crete and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The hosts are really nice and we ended up chatting with them for quite some time. The setting is ideal for a cool summer evening dinner al fresco. The food is gorgeous, varied and very well presented. Very highly recommended.

Amazing local food, with friendly attentive staff. We luckily ended up stumbling on this place by chance. If you’re in Heraklion and looking for a place to eat….don’t miss the opportunity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place. A very traditional taverna with pretty stone walls. Their menu is great, simple dishes and lots of variety. We went for lots of starters. Eggplant rolls were our number one, fried zucchini was a very close second. Both dishes to die for. Traditional sausages and meatballs were also very tasty. Very good house white wine. The food was ready very fast. The restaurant started to fill up at about 9 pm, large local groups and families came in for dinner, before that it was very calm. Amazing value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a dinner evening here with about 20 friends. They all loved it and still talk about it! The food was delicious, typically greek and large portions. The staff is quick and very friendly. The place is clean and in greek traditional style and the bill was less than expected. This is really one of the best food places in town!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to the restaurant with pretty high expectations, having read all the positive feedback. Unfortunately, the fried squid was a real disappointment. It was overcooked and little burnt. The meat plate was also kind of dry. Finally, it took them ages to bring the bill.
