M	Moody on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great large Cretan restaurant close to the sea but inland. This is your farm to table type of restaurant with everything made organically. A real authentic restaurant and surprisingly with a collection of EVOO (Olive oil). The tasting olive oil menu is great with first harvest olives, a true dream for the those who love olive oils. The food was lovey however since everything was in demand, many items in the specials were already out of stock. This is a restaurant where you should definitely book in advance as the tables fill up. We tried the goat and then the shrimps and were great choices. Definitely will be back for the olive oil
D	Debby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely popular, so book ahead. It's not hard to see why people flock to it. The menu is relatively small but each dish is carefully designed and thought through. Great examples of Cretan cuisine. We loved the grilled katsohiri cheese appetizer and the Kreokakavos was delicious! There's also the added bonus of an extensive olive oil menu and wine list with great Cretan wines. If you can't choose, let the staff advise you. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.

My friend has severe allergies and the waitress working our table was able to answer all of her questions. I am able to eat everything so I was very happy with the roasted goat with yogurt sauce. The goat was perfectly tender and melted in my mouth. My son ordered the sausages cooked over a wildfire and served on rosemary. It was so delicious! At the end of the meal we were given a local sweet made from semolina. My gluten free friend was given a sour cherry preserve.

At first we got a yoghurt dip with beet and garlic, then we had a Greek salad with fresh herbs and extremely yummy and fresh feta, shrimps and more. Afterwards we got pork dishes, octopus and pasta with mushrooms. All very well seasoned and cooked. For dessert we had chocolate mousse (accompanied by a honey flavored halva) which was really really delicious, we still talk about it. Also great concept being a sustainable restaurant! Definitely worth a visit.

B	Benedetta spizzichino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isn’t a restaurant just for food. It’s an experience. It’s a story. 10/10 I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Crete, it’s a must. The people who work here are so passionate about what they do and our waiter took the time to explain to us both the story of the restaurant and the origin of their products. The olive oil tasting was great, we even got the chance to buy some bottles to bring home as presents. On top of it all, the food is outrageously good. Really recommend the zucchini flowers and the cheesecake!
