The remains of the ancient arkesini are freely accessible by a red route from the village. You can park behind the church and from there the peso about 30 minutes. You don't have to expect much, but you can find the remains of walls and other buildings

Primo insediamento umano sull'isola. Un emozione camminare sugli stessi sassi di quegli antenati.
First human settlement on the island. An emotion to walk on the same stones as those ancestors.

At the edge of the rock, on the rock, the vigla hangs waiting, in vain, for the pirates. The sound of the sea with the bells of the kids, who look at you in surprise, is mixed into a music that you put the lyrics! In arms, in arms!

A major ancient settlement built on a cliff, with an impressive acropolis providing a bird's-eye view of the Aegean Sea. The path is relatively easy and not demanding at any part. It takes around 30 mins to go and 40 mins to return, due to the ascent on the way back. For more info read the travel story on our blog!

The best sunset spot in Amorgos - park your car and be prepared for a 40’ walk to reach the promontory. Do not forget your training shoes to walk along the path

Ruins of an ancient acropolis (one of the 3 in the island). Follow the red path behind the village of Vroutsi and you can reach the ancient city in around 30-40mins. Make sure to have trainers with you to avoid slipping on the stones. It’s ideal to do the hike between 6-8 when the sun burns less. Read the history of the sight before visiting. At the end of the hike after climbing the stairs to the acropolis you can get some amazing views but expect to find ruins, not well maintained.
